Chapters 1-5-One of the ways you can relate this to life experiances is by bringing the right equipment with you,if you decide to live in the wild. Not bringing the right stuff if what killed chris, he was careless, and selfless, to not bring the equpiment he needed to servive. Wildlife doesnt care or doesnt have mercy for the people who want to play around in the wild. Not being prepared for a huge test in school is just like being in the situation that chris was in. If you dont take good notes in class, pay attention or take the time to study at home, your setting yourself up for failure, just like chris was when he wasnt prepared to live in the wild.

chapters 6-9- In this section of chapters the life lesson would be to always pursue on what you'd like to accomplish in your life. For Chris he wanted to go out, and to live in the wild. By wanting to be a free from society he inspired a man by the name of Ron France who is a eighty year old man to want go live in the wild, until he found out that Chris was dead. If you want to go out and pursue something like Chris did, don’t let anything hold you back. If you want to pursue a career you should study and do whatever that is required for to get that job.

Chapters 10-14- In this section of reading the lesson would be to make your decions carefully before abandoning your family. Chris doenst realize how bad he hurt his parents by leaving them to never see them again. It makes it more upsetting to learn that Chris had a well lived life growing up as a child. He went on vactions year to year, he went to school, and he had parents who took care of him. The main reason for him divorcing his parents is because the hatdred that he has for his father, he emotionally hurt Chris by having an affair, and cheating on his wife. By him leaving his home to never see his family again was incredibly inconsiderate, especially because his mother had done nothing to him, and it probably hurt her alot to never see him again. Chris's idea to leave his family was very bad, hurting his sister's feeling, she'd cry every night because he left of his departure. The other life lesson would be to enjoy the family that you have because there are people in life that don't have both there parents or a life like Chris had.

chapters 15,18,epilogue- A important life lesson in this section of reading is to setting high goals for yourself is good but just make sure you know your limits. You want to set a high enough goal for yourself that it will make you a better person, but make sure that you don't set your expectation to high, because you may end up failing. In the book, Krakauer was explaining how he had a goal trying to climb devils thumb. He knew his limitation and knew once when he ran into rock he went back down the moutian. Everyone in life has a goal that they'd want to achieve, like if you wanted to try out for a sport, you would train real hard, but you wouldnt want to over work yourself, and end up getting hurt. Another life lesson in this section of reading is that expressing yourself, and sharing you your feeling with people is extremly important. letting all bundle up inside yourself just builds up. Chris had realized that his feelings about the wild was great but he wanted to let people know this feelong that he had. He wanted people to talk to and socialize with other people, and misses talking to his family.
